BowFlex TC10 Treadclimber Error Codes

Learn what error codes mean for the Bowflex TC10 treadclimbers. Learn how to troubleshoot the error code and how to solve it.

  • If the error code has never appeared before, the first step should always be to power the machine off/on. Does the code re-appear? If the code reappears or has been seen before, then proceed with the steps listed for the error.
  • After completing each resolution step listed for the error, restart the machine. Does the error return? If not, proceed to the next resolution step.
  • If multiple codes are present address the “Hxx” codes first, before troubleshooting “Cxx” codes. After addressing any “Hxx” codes, the “Cxx” codes may not re-appear.

  2. Replace the I/O cables.
H06Communication issuePower the machine off/on.
H07 and H16Over-speed condition
  1. If the error occurs when the machine is powered up or when the start button is pressed, replace the MCB.
  2. If the error occurs due to pushing belts beyond motor speed, advise not to push belts beyond motor speed.
H08No tach detected
  1. Check that the motor tach I/O cable is connected at both ends.
  2. Replace the motor assembly.
H11Power supply voltage lowIf the error has occurred multiple times replace the MCB. Otherwise, restart the machine.
H12Memory errorIf the error has occurred multiple times replace the MCB. Otherwise, restart the machine.
H13Hardware failureIf the error has occurred multiple times replace the MCB. Otherwise, restart the machine.
H15Over current
  1. Check belt lubrication/tension.
  2. If a heavier user is at low speeds set shocks to MIN travel and try a shorter workout at a higher speed (over 2.0MPH).
  3. If the problem has slowly developed over a long period of time, and has been getting worse, replace the motor.
H17Motor wiring
  1. Check motor wiring connections to the MCB.
  2. Replace the motor.
  3. Replace the MCB.

H22High Voltage issueIf the error has occurred multiple times replace the MCB. Otherwise, restart the machine.
H23No tach signal (MCB detected tach but saw no tach pulses)
  1. Check motor power wire connection and tach I/O cable connection at both ends.
  2. Check that the tach wheel is mounted securely to the motor shaft. If not, tighten the tach wheel.
  3. Replace the motor.
H24Current issueTroubleshoot any other errors first. If other errors are resolved, and the error has occurred multiple times, replace the MCB,
H26, H28, and H29Circuitry issueIf the error has occurred multiple times replace the MCB. Otherwise, restart the machine.
H30EStop Error (Possible detection out of sync)
  1. Check and make sure the E-Stop is plugged in and fitted correctly.
  2. Check console EStop cable connection.
  3. Replace the console.
  4. Replace the MCB.
